Maryville University
is a nationally ranked comprehensive liberal arts university with a focus on
one-on-one education. Our programs in Natural and Actuarial Sciences are
burgeoning, with rapidly growing enrollment, active facilities renovations, and
new faculty who are actively engaged in their disciplines. We are dedicated to
providing rich educational experiences that encompass creative thought and
independent research. Our students gain experience with cutting edge technology
and equipment in the classroom, laboratory and in the field. We strive to
cultivate integrated research experiences for our undergraduates, such that
students from disciplines as diverse as forensic science, pre-engineering,
ecology and molecular genetics can come together for collaborative projects. We
have recently re-designed our biology curriculum such that it is deeply rooted
in genetics, evolution and ecology, and we hope to have flourishing
relationships with our fellow St. Louis institutions of higher education. Feel
