We are rebooting our annual SLEEC retreats! Our 10th Annual SLEEC will be held in Fall of 2025 at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Stay tuned for more info soon!

The 9th Annual SLEEC Retreat (that’s St Louis Ecology, Evolution, Conservation) will take place on Saturday, 21 September, hosted by Tony Dell of the NGRREC, to take place at the campus of Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Ill. The logistics and program are nearly finalized, so check back soon for details. Contact Tony or your local representative regarding availability of speaking slots, and we’ll include full information in future email notices.

When:  Saturday, 22 September 2018, 8:00am—5:00pm
 
Where:  Maryville University, Donius University Center (essentially at intersection of I-64/40 and Hwy 141, west St. Louis County)
 
Who: Anyone interested in ecology, evolution, conservation, systematics, etc. The Retreat schedule will be available just prior to the event. Please RSVP to your university representative or to Peer Hoch (peter.hoch at mobot.org)
 
Keynote Speaker:  Robert Raguso (Cornell U) 

Deadlines: 
  • For speakers and poster presentations, and to reserve a lunch: Friday, 14 September. 
  • For dinner reservations (see below for details): Monday 17 September

  • Speakers: (15 minute talks, including questions) provide author(s) with affiliation(s), title, and abstract (250 word maximum)
  • Posters:  provide author(s) with affiliation(s), title (NO abstract needed); maximum poster size 3’ x 5’
  • For lunch, please indicate any food preferences (vegetarian, vegan, etc.)
